Course Description

This Linux certification training course covers the topics and skills assessed by the LPI 102 exam, the second of two exams required to earn the internationally recognized LPIC-1: Linux Administrator certification. Students build on the foundations established in LPI101 to develop intermediate Linux administration skills across user management, shell scripting, networking, security, and system services. The curriculum spans ten chapters organized around the official exam objectives, covering account administration, Bash scripting, task automation, TCP/IP networking, the X Window System, localization, logging, mail transfer agents, and host security with SSH and GnuPG. Like all Guru Labs courses, the material is designed to provide extensive hands-on experience.
