Guarantee to Individuals:
Once you take a paid seminar at ITdojo you can come back any time and sit the same seminar again… within 18 months! If you want to attend the seminar back-to-back-to-back, three times in a row, fine. Whatever you need to do in order to be successful is fine with us.
There are a few conditions to this, though (aren’t there always). They are:
- You have to keep your material from the first time you attended the seminar. We can’t give you a new book or a new manual every time you sit the seminar. If you don’t have the material anymore you can use the digital copy that’s on your PC in the seminar or on our website.
- We’ll buy you lunch the first time you attend our seminar but we must ask you to provide your own lunch if you sit the seminar again. Sodas and snacks are still on us, though. That won’t change.
- Available seats have to go to new seminar participants before they can be used by someone attending the seminar for the second (plus) time. Empty seats are available on a first-come, first-server basis for second-timer’s. Call us in advance to get on the list. We would hate it if you showed up on the day of the seminar and we didn’t have a seat for you. That’s not cool.
- This guarantee doesn’t apply if the seminar you took is no longer available or if it has been substantially modified due to changes in the industry.
Guarantee to Businesses:
Six-Month “My admin just quit” guarantee
You just invested in your network admin, Sally, by sending her to a series of security seminars at ITdojo. You even paid for her to get certified. Two months later she quits because she just got a job offer paying twice what she’s making with your company. Are you frustrated? Sure. Can you blame her? Maybe. The one sure thing is that you just invested in preparing someone to work for another company (probably a competitor). ITdojo takes the burden for you.
Our guarantee to your company is this: If you pay to send a member of your staff to one of our seminars and they quit within six months of the seminar completion date, you can send their replacement to the same seminar for free (excluding the courseware). How cool is that? You don’t have to make Sally mad by making her sign a one-year contract and you don’t have to risk having your investment walking out the door on you.
As usual, there are a few conditions:
- This guarantee doesn’t include an employee you or your company chose to promote, transfer, terminate or otherwise remove from their position.
- If you plan to terminate the employee but let them resign instead, that counts as them having been terminated.
- We also can’t cover when an employee dies, becomes disabled, retires, takes an extended leave, short or long-term disability or maternity or paternity leave. They have to quit and continue to work somewhere else. What we want to insure you against is an employee using the knowledge and skills your company paid for them to gain (in one of our seminars) from getting a better paying job because of that knowledge and experience.
- This guarantee also only applies to the immediate successor of an employee who has resigned. For instance, if you send Sally to a seminar and she quits five months later you can send her replacement, Carl, free of charge. If Carl quits a week after completing the seminar you cannot send his replacement for free. Sorry. We have to draw the line somewhere.
- We reserve the right to verify, to our satisfaction, that the employee actually quit for one of the above referenced reason. On a case-by-case basis, we reserve the right to rescind this offer if we feel the employee’s departure from your organization doesn’t legitimately reflect the spirit of what our guarantee is trying to prevent.
- This guarantee doesn’t apply if the seminar you took is no longer available or if it has been substantially modified due to changes in the industry.
